Winter Haven's Festival of Trees kicked off its weekend of celebration with Shine, an upscale event honoring the Christmas season. Guests at the Dec. 3 event listened to jazz music as they meandered among decorated Christmas trees, enjoyed their favorite cocktails and nibbled on gourmet hors d'oeuvres. The event also featured a mobile cigar lounge, which had leather and wood accents.
